One of the main global problems nowadays is an increasingly deteriorated environment. OdiloTID is aware of the duty to avoid the use of dirty technologies, and it is positioned in favor of the use of green processes and technologies.

Its software applications have been conceived to be used as a service on the Internet, and they are implemented as a Cloud Computing mode, with a substantial added value: to reduce waste of power at isolated points. OdiloTID is in favor of sharing major infrastructures and datacenters, located in areas that use alternative energy and cluster technologies, obtaining in this way a more streamlined and efficient performance of their cooling and energy expend.

 

OdiloTID, building the future.

OdiloTID is researching, innovating and producing, since more than twenty-five years, in the information and communication technologies sector, particularly in the area of records and documents services and products.

The company, that was born to develop software applications to manage information centers, has continued to evolve, thanks to its permanent willingness to research in future trends, which over the time have been incorporated to its services and products, making these trends into reality, through the use of emerging technologies, and the most capable technologies at each given time. In this way, its services and products are nowadays technological leaders, integrated with large communications networks, in the realm of information, documents and records services (archives, recordkeeping, records management, libraries, information centers, centers of excellence).

It has always been a part of the philosophy of the company to work for the society, and to provide an answer to their expectations regarding information and communication. Hence its permanent effort to know what is expected of ITC and to offer these products before anyone else. Its more recent developments, aligned with the Web 2.0, Cloud Computing or e-book are a proof of this.

Corporate Policy on Information Security.

OdiloTID High Management understands its duty to ensure information security, as an essential component to reach the proper performance of its services to its customers and, therefore, supports the following objectives and principles:

I. To implement the value of the information security in the organization as a whole.

II. To ensure that everybody in OdiloTID is helping to protect information security.

III. To preserve confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information, in order to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and organizational requirements regarding information security.

IV. To protect OdiloTID information assets against all kind of threats, both internal and external, deliberate or accidental, in order to ensure continuity in the service to our customers and information security.

V. To establish an information security plan, that integrates activities capable of preventing from and minimizing the risk of a security incident, and based upon risk management criteria established by OdiloTID.

VI. To provide the necessary means to perform the relevant actions against identified risks.

VII. To define as a framework to manage security a commitment of continuous improvement, using as a reference the UNE-ISO/IEC 27001:2007 standard, in order to establish the information security management system and the ISO/IEC 27002:2005 standard as a set of best practices to manage information security.

VIII. To take responsibility in raising awareness and training in information security, as a means to ensure compliance with this policy.

IX. To extend our commitment to information security to our customers.
